Our Story

Our Community Lawyers

At Pro Bono SG, our mission to ensure access to justice is fuelled by the dedication and expertise of not only our extensive network of volunteer lawyers but also our dedicated team of in-house community lawyers, including CLAS and CLC Advocates (senior lawyers) and Fellows (junior lawyers).
Comprising a diverse group of passionate individuals, our in-house community lawyers have committed themselves wholeheartedly to working together to provide guidance and represent disadvantaged individuals who cannot afford legal aid.

Under the guidance of our Chief Representation Officer and Deputy Director of Community Legal Services, who themselves are practicing community lawyers, the entire Representation team is empowered to make a profound impact on the lives of those they assist. Their unwavering dedication ensures that justice is accessible to all, irrespective of their background or financial circumstances.

In 2021, she took up the position of Head of Representation. She has advised and/or represented over 500 clients, and has appeared at all levels of the Singapore courts for criminal matters.

In 2023, Sadhana was awarded The Joseph Grimberg Outstanding Young Advocate Award, which recognises young lawyers in good standing who exhibit professional excellence, service to the profession and the bar, service to the community, and/or a reputation for or the advancement of legal ethics and professional responsibility.
